Engage with your Emotions

Listen to your Heart’s Wisdom

Ask yourself, ‘How do I FEEL?’ Not what do I think.

Knowing that you can tap into your heart at any given sacred moment is more than a game-changer - it’s a game enhancer! Quite literally at your fingertips, with focused intention, you are able to engage with your most potent guru - your soul, your Sacred Bond…and guess what? It can not lie to you. Ah-ah…it isn’t led by the ego, nor the chimp or reptilian brain - no - for it is pure, it has been with you in since before you were born this lifetime. ‘Ask and you shall receive’ . Just close your eyes and tune in.

HEAR YOUR HEART’S WHISPER - FOR IT IS YOUR CONSTANT.

Always there to love you, no matter what.

It knows your every secret, it knows your every desire. It’s the voice of your soul, connected to the Divine and will never abandon you. Feel safe in choosing your heart to follow -always - as you are guided by the Divine.

‘As you feel the tears spring up know that your golden heart has been touched,

And as this crystalline love spills down your cheek,

Know that you have been blessed by an angel’.

Allow your heart to speak. Allow your ears to listen.

TAKE A SACRED BOND MOMENT: practising mindfulness

Just by sitting on the ground, and slowing your breath, may you experience inner connection and peace. forming a spiritual daily routine is a foundational tool to emotional well-being. Being able to get out of your head you quiet the mind, then engage with your heart and tap into Divine Intelligence which will mean that you have an oasis of calm at your fingertips.

Learning to medtitate as part of your daily spiritual practice is a sacred moment in your day where you can breathe, relax and restore your emotional balance. For it is from stillness that emotional gold can be found.

‘ For the stiller the water the clearer the reflection’.

A time for reflection is time well spent. Enrich your life-force daily with self-care and self-compassion.

LET YOUR HEART’S LIGHT BRIGHTEN THE WORLD.

Most often you’ll find people will ask you things like..’What do you think..’ which encourages you to go into to your mind to find the answer and so you unconsciously reply, ‘I think...’

If you ever find yourself answering this question with , ‘I think...’ then I’d urge you to revisit the question at hand and add the key question , ‘How does this make me FEEL?’  because by tapping into your emotions you can connect with the real core truth and that is what really matters to you.  Don’t be surprised if your mind starts to fight back for the talking stick for that is all it is..talking - noise.  What you want from this quiet self-enquiry is to connect with the underlying emotion and if your answer surprises you and perhaps happens to be ‘sad, angry, happy, frightened, anxious, unsure, excited or numb even’ then this is emotional gold because from this place of inner truth, knowing yourself and not just going with the knee-jerk answer ‘I think...’ you can choose to address how you actually FEEL.

YOGA isn’t an exercise, it’s a way of life.

By practising yoga regularly you are strengthening your ability to connect within, to connect with your own life-force and so to connect with your higher self and all that is sacred and divine - a union with God.

‘Yin yoga is one of my favourite relaxing things to do - while I stretch my muscles oh-so slowly I have time to fully reflect of my life, to calm my breath and to connect with my body which gives my a welcome mini holiday from living in my head! - I refer to it as ‘checking-in to check out!’

You can form a spiritual bond with someone in a caring conversation or with a meaningful gesture – touching someone by sharing your feelings they get you emotionally and this helps them recognise their own vulnerability in that moment. Simply taking the time to say hello  acknowledging a passer-by may be a healing moment for that stranger as you brighten their day with your joyful vibration. They felt that you saw them and that feeling alone, in that moment, that was enough to make the difference. For we are never alone.

FOLLOW YOUR HEART

Feelings are to be trusted, shared and honoured.  It’s Ok to not feel OK sometimes, yet the gift is identifying that feeling and then going about giving it the attention and comfort it craves to then see it transform into a kinder way of being. Being kind to yourself isn’t always an easy option when your mind is wrapping your thoughts into mental knots.

Shut your eyes. Put your hand on your heart and ask the question again, ‘How do I FEEL?’ Your heart, unlike your mind, is the spiritual bond that you can return to time and again to seek your truth and guidance on a daily basis, for it is an amazing wise guide for it cannot lie , ever!  This ‘asking-the-heart’ way of living takes practice and is a real game-changer for emotional well being and for you to live your happiest life.

SOUL CONNECTIOn

Soul recognition: It is quiet, it is graceful, without ego and is gentle - it’s as if you’ve been tapped on the shoulder by an angel who bestows you the Knowing that you have met a person who’s soul you have known before. Hold sacred space together for each other to see and experience your heart and you’ll see the miracle of seeing your own soul’s reflection in their eyes.

INTIMACY

It’s in these intimate moments where truth can be found and felt by our soul. Intimacy is an emotional journey of trust, self-surrender and pure love.

A Poem: ‘I KNOW YOU”

Looking into the lake at my reflection I glimpsed you and yet,
As my hands reached out to touch yours
You retreated and disappeared.
Although bereft in that moment, I understand now,
And can see through all smokescreens of perceptions,
That we are all One.

Within us there is everything and more
Graceful and soft and so very bright,
By being a reflection for another is when two souls can truly connect.
As I hold your gaze peacefully, I discover myself in your eyes
This is a magical process to witness, for this is our Sacred Bond.
