I like to explain that animals are simply angels wearing fur - sent to earth to seek us out, team up with us and guide and comfort us. The Sacred Bond shared between human and animal souls is so special and enriches our lives.
A friend to rely on, to share with and to care for. They need us as much as we need them - this special love is truly sent from heaven.
PURE COMMUNICATION OF THE HEART: The empathy animals show us is an unshakable Sacred Bond between animal and human where both truly comprehend the other’s feelings - they simply get us at our deepest level. Hugging your dog, stroking a cat, riding a pony, feeding a bird - forming these Sacred Bonds with these gentle souls whom have been sent from heaven to walk our path and touch our hearts forever, and help remind us of who we really are and can be.
They don’t recognise cruelty because they themselves are incapable of it. Nor are they swift to judge as they are non-judgmental beings. They don’t lie for they are incapable of lying. If they may show aggression at times, it is the only way they know of protecting their own deep fear and anxiety that they feel about a situation. Animals enjoy human company and interaction, they thrive on being part of a pack, one of a family and also love one-on-one time and can attach themselves faithfully to one owner,
Heart to heart engagement with a pet can be a key to your inner communication, it can unlock feelings that you’d buried or forgotten and yet with unconditional love can be found. If we were unable to love them so much , it wouldn’t hurt so much when they may have to leave us on Earth. These Sacred Bonds made can never be broken and they can continue to guide us even when they have left the planet - look out for their unique language - it maybe in the clouds, shapes of leaves, butterflies, rainbows or lyrics in a song. They’ll never leave you.

A SMILE STARTS FROM THE HEART.
There is nothing more magical than witnessing the power of unconditional love between humans and dogs. Their love and understanding can buoy spirits and ignite joy when before there may have not been this key to outward communication.
TO BE LOVED BY A CAT IS A BLESSING INDEED. Forming a Sacred Bond with your cat has a mystical quality to it, for you are aware that somehow they have chosen to bestow their love and attention on you. You certainly didn’t choose them! They have a knack of making you feel both special and insignificant in equal measure. These independent souls are true zen masters and are amazing emotional balancers. When they sit on your chest and do the ‘knead the dough’ massage with their front paws, know that they are directly energising your heart with their love.
When a cat purrs you quite literally can feel their contentment. Their vibration of pure love alters our vibration and calms us to this special state of residing in the moment of shared love.

DOG: ‘I love you …. and I love the ball your holding even more at the moment!…I’m ready to chase after it the minute you throw it!’
BOY: ‘ I love you …and I love my ball too. When I throw it, you chase after it and bring it right back OK?’
DOG: ‘..You betcha! I want to bring it back to you - so we can do it all over again! ..and again!
BOY: ‘Your are my perfect playmate you know? Let’s have some ice cream and soda a little later too.’
Sharing a childhood with your best friend is sharing a very Sacred Bond.
UNLOCKING A HEART’S VOICE:
‘I’ve grown up with my puppy Molly. I’ve looked after her and she now looks after me. When I was little and didn’t speak to anyone Molly always understood me - Mummy knew that I was Ok when she saw me smile and cuddle Molly. She’s helped me to say things out loud too when I wasn’t sure how to say the things I felt. When I asked Mummy for some water on a very hot day for Molly she started crying which was odd. And later that week I asked her for some treats and she then started laughing as she handed me Molly’s favourites biscuits. I asked Mummy why she was crying and she told me it was because she was happy. I told Molly about this and she just sighed and lay down beside me love-hugging each other. Molly agreed with me that humans can be so confusing sometimes!
I love Molly because she makes me feel happy and safe. Next time I say my thoughts out loud again I’ll tell Mummy that I’m very happy and love her as much as I love Molly.’

Pets are Sacred companions who enrich our lives, give us purpose and can bring out the best in us. To all my special animal companions who have come to share my life’s path part of the way I am forever grateful and fortified by our Sacred Bond.

Please consider taking on a pet very carefully.
Please know that they need companionship and are not good at being left alone for long periods. ( no more than 3-4 hours at a time max) dogs need walking at least twice a day. All pets will need regular worming and vaccinations in addition to their daily food and treats.
If you feel you are able to offer a dog or cat a home then please consider a rescue animal who has been abandoned or rehomed through no fault of their own – they deserve a forever home where they can feel safe and loved and the best news...they will love you right back!
