This Divine Exchange was especially personal for me. Just a few weeks ago, we lost our beloved puppy, Summer. She lived only 1 year, 1 month, and 1 day as her life was tragically cut short by a cancerous tumour on her spine.   The vet at Fitzpatricks Referrals, Mark, had such empathy for Summer and my family and gave us all the time we needed to be with her and get her to sleep naturally in our arms surrounded by love before she actually put her to sleep. Our hearts are hurting and yet we know that the memories will filter back to warm our hearts again with the precious times we had with Summer.  The grief and trauma of losing her so young have been incredibly raw and overwhelming.

Philippa’s insights and words of encouragement brought me so much comfort. She shared how animals, no matter how long or short their time with us, bring with them a deep-rooted purpose for existence, mirroring our lives and teaching us profound lessons about love, resilience, and letting go. This Divine Exchange is dedicated to the memory of our beloved family rescue puppy, Summer from the wonderful Dali Charity in Cyprus who do so much to rehome abandoned dogs.  Summer was a special soul – poignantly she lived one year, one month and one day. 

In her short life on earth she touched many hearts, may love and blessings surround her forever more. Amen
