I’m absolutely delighted to share this next special Divine Exchange with someone very dear to me—Dr. Robert Holden. If you’ve been following Sacred Bond’s “The Divine Exchange” on my new YouTube channel, you’ll know how much I love connecting with spiritual teachers, thought leaders and what I like to call, Sacred Agents… and this conversation with Robert was truly exceptional.

I first encountered Robert’s work many years ago and his wisdom has guided me ever since. We’ve both journeyed deeply through his Success Intelligence Mastermind 2024, and it has been a shared path of self-discovery for everyone, including Robert, on the seven-month course - enriching our lives by encountering big love, sacred ‘yes’s’ and forgiveness. I also regularly enjoy being part of Robert’s ‘Purpose Club’ calls, where he helps so many of us align with our deeper life’s calling; I’m always left inspired by his clarity and depth of understanding as well as his mischievous razor-sharp humour!

About Robert Holden:

For those of you new to Robert’s work, he holds a PhD in psychology and is a renowned expert in positive psychology and well-being. He originally worked as a professional psychologist and has expanded his career into the realm of spirituality, exploring the deeper aspects of the human psyche beyond traditional psychological frameworks. Robert is also known for founding the National Health Service’s (NHS) first “laughter clinic” and the highly influential ‘Happiness Project’. He has published over 14 best-selling books, including Shift Happens! and his latest book Loveability, and regularly gives workshops and talks on happiness and success. He’s spent decades helping people discover the keys to happiness, love, and true self-worth.

Robert has also appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, given TEDx talks, and worked with global brands such as Dove on their intuitive ‘Real Beauty’ campaign. His work is his vocation, his true purpose, where he manages to combine profound psychological insight with spiritual wisdom in a graceful way that speaks to the soul as much as the mind. 

A Special Divine Exchange:

In our conversation, Robert opened up about some of the pivotal experiences that shaped his life—his love of sport and music, his childhood and personal anecdotes to his parents, the joy he finds in everyday moments, and how these passions and growth have fuelled his sense of purpose to help others. We explored some really deep questions: the feeling of loneliness and separateness so many of us experience, the role of divine connection in healing, the journey we all take to discover our innate worthiness of love—what Robert beautifully calls “Loveability”, and so much more.

Together, we also reflected on our shared journey with the wisdom of the late Louise Hay, how in so many readings and poems we receive lessons that continue to shape our understanding of forgiveness, compassion, and love in action. Our conversation was filled with humour, lightness, and those wonderfully serendipitous moments, like the story of 3 boiled eggs (which I promise is a very spooky coincidence!) bringing such comedy and brilliance into our exchange.
